Kindergarten & New Student Registration

Welcome to École White City School - we look forward to meeting you and your child/children!

Students are registered at the school in their attendance area.  If you are unsure which attendance area you live in, please click on our School locator.

If you are interested in French Immersion programming for your child, the boundaries are not the same as English programming; you may live outside of the English program attendance area.

Registering for Kindergarten

To register for Kindergarten, children must at least (5) five years of age as of December 31 of the school year.  For example, to start Kindergarten in September 2024, your child must be five years old by December 31 of 2024.

We hold a Kindergarten Orientation evening in the Spring for students joining us later that school year.

Registering for all other grades

Students can register at any time during the school year (September to June).  When you enroll your child/children, you must provide the school with documentation that verifies their age.  More information can be found under AP-3000 Admission of Students.

Non Resident/Non-Canadian Citizen Students, International/Exchange Students

Prairie Valley School Division provides programs and services for non-resident/citizen, International and Exchange Students.  For more information, visit AP-3000 Students Admissions.

A 'Take your Backpack to School' event is held one evening the last week of August.  Students, along with Mom and Dad, are invited to come to school to drop off their backpack and school supplies.
